Meetings & Dinners

We gather regularly, and each meeting is followed by a dinner. Our meetings are held six times a year, on the first Tuesday of February, March, April, October, November and December. The March meeting is special as it’s our ‘Installation’ night, where the new Master and his officers for the coming year are appointed.

Meeting Details:

  • Location: The Masonic Centre, Wilton Road, Bexhill-On-Sea
  • Time: 5pm (4:30pm in March for the Installation meeting)

Meeting Structure: Our meetings, open only to members, are typically divided into two parts:

  1. Administrative Procedures:

    • Reviewing minutes from the previous meeting
    • Proposing and balloting for new members
    • Discussing and voting on the annual accounts
    • Sharing Masonic news and correspondence
    • Updating on charitable work
  2. Ceremonies:

    • Admitting new members
    • Annual installation of the Master of the Lodge and his officers

Lodge of Instruction: The ‘Lodge of Instruction’ is a more relaxed setting where we rehearse our ceremonies and refine our work. These sessions are invaluable for those progressing through various offices to the Master’s Chair, and all members are encouraged to attend.

  • When: Every Tuesday of each month Except when the the Lodge meets
  • Time: 7.30pm
  • Location: The Masonic Centre
